My parents told me about this great Italian restaurant locally owned in Plano. It was after my son's basketball game and dinner time, around 7:00 p.m. on a Tuesday. We were warmly greeted by staff and the owner and head chef, Arbor. What a gentleman! He was patient and kind to all of us, including our children as we figured out what we wanted to eat. Appetizers were incredible, with my sons commenting on the awesome "cheese pull" of the mozzarella sticks. The table Brad was equally incredible and fresh and housemade. Our food was also incredible. The margarita pizza was a surprising standout. But everything, pesto tortellini, salmon caesar salad, fruitti de mare, and my youngest son's fettuccine Alfredo, was fabulous. I only thought to take pictures after we started eating, so the pictures aren't as good as they could have been. But boy oh boy, we have a new favorite Italian restaurant. Excellent for individuals at the bar with a wide drink and wine selection, excellent for couples, and excellent for families.

This was an unexpectedly charming spot with fantastic pasta. You’ll never guess from the outside of this place how much character is on the inside. I really appreciated that the mushrooms were not just thrown in my pasta at the last minute like some places do. I could tell they were fresh, and they were seared + seasoned. Very good!

Niki's Italian in Plano is your cozy neighborhood restaurant. It's a place for a quiet meal for two or where you and your friends can enjoy terrific food and friendship. My wife and I discovered Niki's this afternoon for lunch and we were beyond delighted! Chef Arber, a graduate of the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY, knows how to put out culinary masterpieces that dazzle the taste buds. His experience included working for five years at a Michelin two star restaurant in Manhattan. Chef Arber is friendly and outgoing and spent some time visiting with us. My wife had a Caesar salad followed by chicken piccata. The chicken was tender and juicy enhanced by the lemon, butter, and caper sauce. These sat atop perfectly cooked pasta. I had a mixed green salad with the most tantalizing red salad dressing. I had spaghetti and meat sauce. I asked if he could give me an arrabiata sauce, which he did, and he definitely brought out the full flavor of the tomatoes, onions, garlic, and spices. We completed our meal with the most delicate, freshly made tiramisu. It was so light, we could barely keep it from rising off the plate into our mouths. All in all, this is now our

The new owners are trying out lots of new items on menu . This is mammas ragu with gnocchi omg the flavors. Step out on the wild side with some of new menu items. Sorry my picture isn’t best as I got this as take out. Delicious flavors.

I recently visited Niki’s Italian Restaurant with a friend, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. Let me start with the atmosphere—the restaurant is extremely clean, well-organized, and has a very welcoming feel. The acoustics are great, making it easy to enjoy conversations without noise distractions. You can tell they truly care about hygiene and maintaining a comfortable environment. The owner personally greeted us with a warm smile and positive energy that immediately made us feel at home. That kind of genuine hospitality is rare and really sets this place apart. As for the food—we had pizza, and it was absolutely delicious. Fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. We truly enjoyed every bite. Overall, this is a perfect spot if you’re looking for great food, a clean and relaxing environment, and a friendly atmosphere to spend quality time with family or friends. I’ll definitely be coming back—and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great dining experience.
